Our colleague and BH Advisory’s digital expert, M. Yassine Oualid, has just been appointed as the Minister for startup and incubators in the new Algerian Government, led by the Prime Minister Mr. Adelaziz Djerad, as announced on the 2nd of January. He is 26 years old and is now the youngest member of Algeria’s new government.
Little known in the political arena, Oualid was born in Boumerdés, concluding his studies as a medical doctor, but through self-training and a natural vocation, he embraced the world of entrepreneurship and digital technology, notably by creating the first private Algerian hosting company SSH, which focused on the development of the startup ecosystem. Oualid has been working with BH Advisory, our Associated office in Alger, and is responsible for several digital projects in various sectors such as telemedicine and shopping malls’ IT management.
To the new Minister and our colleague Yassine Oualid, we wish the best success in his new functions.

We were recently involved in incorporating three new Moroccan companies in Portugal, most specifically in the Madeira Duty-Free Zone.
The Moroccan entrepreneurs came to Portugal to set up new companies and invest in recycled materials, home decor and industrial facility services, two of which are already operating. This entire process had the cooperation of our partner office in the Madeira Duty-Free Zone, Funchal’s “Valor Solutions”: tax and legal issues, as well as our business office partner in Casablanca.
As our expertise has developed in this matter, we hope other Morroccan companies will rely on our services regarding the process of investing in Portugal.
